For the players, just try to role-play and be considerate, alright? - More subtitle fixes, especially for some font characters which may sometimes display as square boxes, - Serana or other NPCs which have banter with her won't initiate their scenes when the player is currently in dialogue (Requires SKSE). These lines will be added in with the rest of the 2.8 update, but for now, Laura will be voicing those lines with her vanilla depiction. - Rewrites for various Serana dialogues, ranging from role-play, NPC Banter, idle lines, quest commentary. - Serana no longer drinks a blood potion (visibly) if she is not following the player. Bethesda mistakenly marks a lot of common areas as "Dwellings" which made Serana equip her home outfit in these areas. - Disabled two Laura Bailey combat lines that were already revoiced. - Moved Blackreach/Alfthand commentary from "Elder Knowledge" quest to "Seeking Disclosure" in case the player hadn't done that quest yet while looking for the Dragon Elder Scroll, - More Alfthand commentary when visiting for the first time, - Moved dialogue branch for "Whats on Your Mind?" - The game now notifies the player (through a small message at the top left of the screen) whenever Serana wants to talk to the player (for quest commentaries mainly). - Removed vanilla bloodcursed arrows dialogue. Serana should now properly wait when being asked to wait. If Serana isn't close to you yet, you won't hear any MQ commentary at all. Certain creative liberties will still be taken, like Serana's talent for singing, fondness of alcohol, and general playful nature will still stay in the mod. - Cure Dialogue Rewrite + Expansion. To see it, and for immersion-sake, talk to Serana RIGHT BEFORE entering the haunted house. - Serana (and other followers) no longer triggers traps while stepping on them. Integrated patch for the BDO Ram Horn Witch Armor ([SE] DM BDOR Ram Horn Witch by Rektas & Xing, Team TAL | Team TAL on Patreon). If she can't wait, Serana's wait functionality will just be suspended - though this may create some wonkiness, so I suggest you do not complete the Diplomatic Immunity quest with Serana, or use the sleep feature once Chasing Echoes is active. This will allow the normal Vanilla Skyrim marriage options using the amulet of Mara. Additionally, messages will be displayed on screen indicating that Serana is guarded at the start, and the player needs to either spend more time with her or talk with her more to get her to open up. - Added Serana tracking marker and teleport spell toggles (through Serana Menu). Fixes to a lot of commentaries for the College of Winterhold and Dark Brotherhood not playing. - Added another ending conversation with Serana after defeating Harkon. so that it can be asked right away without having to ask "Can I talk to you for a bit?" - Changed some conditions with the Odahviig commentary scene to make sure it fires (this was finnicky for some users before, sometimes it was occurring after a considerable delay/fast travel), - More alternate voice script toggles have been added to make sure voice-over transition is more seamless, - Added alternate voice flags to dialogue that was supposed to have them before, - Serana's post MQ commentary now has a script setting the quest stage, that was supposed to be there before. - Serana will no longer compliment your skills when she is in a dungeon. - Disabled radiant lovemaking from occurring during Kindred Judgment. - Fixed conditions for Skuldafn commentary, - Sofia should no longer speak to Serana while she is unconscious in the Whiterun stables (this, although rare, sometimes happened in my own testing), - Serana and Jarl Balgruuf should no longer talk to each other while each of them are in separate dialogue scenes, - Previous messageboxes that set up the "Trust" conversation were removed, as they detracted from the role-play experience. - Serana now has a map marker, toggle-able through the quest journal. Mod support from mods like Apocalypse is eventually planned, so stay tuned for that! This is in line with the dialogue design choice for Serana (as at least during Dawnguard) Serana's non-radiant conversations were always able to be accessed by the player at any given time, given the natural dialogue conditions are met. Big Content Update! Well, after installing (as of this writing) 237 mods (including SDA) and never having gone through the Dawnguard questline at all in any of my many test playthroughs, I look forward to seeing what all this mod has in store. This has since been conditioned to occur after her initial confession of feelings, should the player have gone the romance route. - Added missing voice lines for final romance quest. - Despite the Thieves Guild questline being railroadey, the player will still be able to roleplay extensively with Serana. - Added a small conversation where Serana asks the player a question about companionship. dialogue this mod has, so that it's less spammy. And this is not just your typical follower commentary- SDA's quest awareness will be so in-depth, feature-complete, and well-timed, that you would have thought Serana was actually a part of these quests (and didn't just comment on an aspect or two of them on the side). Serana's Drinking Buddies and radiant love forcegreet timers (to start the features) have been changed from 2 to 5 days. Full Quest Commentary from "Dragonborn" to "At The Summit of Apocrypha". Not to mention the mod should load faster on older hardware! This DOES NOT do anything like dismiss her. - Alduin bug was fixed previously but delayed. The former song acts as a universal entry or starting point for Serana's song capabilities, as previously, "The Dragonborn Comes" would only be available to Dragonborn players. So now you can hear all of her fun lines. Additionally, Serana Dialogue Add-On will not be compatible with mods that change "DLC1NPCMonitoringPlayerScript and DLC1_NPCMentalModelScript".
